Splash pads to visit in the OKC metro area

My favorite splash pad to take my son is in Scissortail Park located in Downtown, Oklahoma City. It is super close to Omni Hotel and complimentary for children to enjoy. When weather is nice; Scissortail Park often has food trucks, live music and is pet-friendly of course.

There is also a free splash pad in Midwest City called the Lions Splash Pad. It is not too far from the Tinker Air Force Base and plenty of fast food restaurants if you forget to pack a picnic.

Check out these other fun splash pads to visit in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Barnett Fields Splash Pad in Edmond, Oklahoma has restrooms and an area with pretend grass to lounge out on with a towel. It looks like a clean and well-kept splash pad. I really liked visiting this one since there were areas that were more shaded on super hot days while parents watch their children.

Children's Garden at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Downtown, Oklahoma City is super cute and perfect for pre-school and kindergarten ages. When weather is nice there is a children's garden connected that is absolutely adorable and has some play items like a merry-go-round.

Alexis Clarke Splash Pad in Choctaw, Oklahoma is connected to a park and close to a baseball field. I think this is a cute splash pad if you are ever out in the area.

During winter months I love taking my son to the Mitch Park YMCA because they have an indoor splash pad and indoor pool.
