Hiring A housekeeper

This blog post contains affiliate links

Are you overwhelmed with cleaning tasks at home and could use some extra help? How about hiring a housekeeper to do some chores you are behind on?

One site you may want to search is Thumbtack. This website has so many profiles of experienced housekeepers with reviews in my area; so it may be the same for you. I love that I can see how many reviews each housekeeper has and learn a bit more about them on their profiles.

You can even view how many times they have actually been hired on Thumback. This helps a lot being that these days businesses and service providers can just have their friend or relative post a review for them...which could be misleading. Don't forget about Thumbtack for other tasks you may need completed as well such as event planning or even painting.

Another place you can search for local housekeepers would be on Care.com. They are not just for baby-sitters and nannies. You can book, pay, and read reviews of housekeepers; all in one place. Super convenient.

Hopefully you find a fantastic house keeper your family will love and trust. I hope this blog post helps you or at least introduces you to some other companies that help out with cleaning a tad.

Sometimes just having a house keeper as a gift from your spouse is a great idea! Hint hint.

Until next time! xoxo De

Get your baby's gear cleaned

Did you know you can have your baby's car seat and stroller cleaned for you? I can appreciate a service geared towards families that assist with tasks I just do not want to do often. Like cleaning.

I love having my baby's car seat and stroller cleaned by a professional after road trips or every few months. My son loves to eat snacks in the back seat...it can get so messy! No matter how many napkins I provide.

When using strollers at zoos and festivals...I would imagine they get filled with germs. Now I do not stress about cleaning the strollers and car seats myself. I take that chore off my to-do list by having BabyQuip handle the hard work and the cleaning duty for me.
