Swim Schools in Oklahoma City Area

Swim Lessons for children in the Oklahoma City metro area

 

   We have tried swim schools for infants and children in Oklahoma and wanted to share our reviews.

AquaTots in Oklahoma City is where we tried first. It is located in North Oklahoma near Rockwell. The area is busy but there is plenty of parking in the shopping center where the swim school is located. Remember to bring your own towels; if you are swimming with an infant you will be getting in the water with your little one. The classes were around $30 on average; maybe a tad more. Call beforehand since things may have changed. There were lockers, changing rooms, a parent viewing area and a nice atmosphere.

Goldfish Swim School in Edmond, Oklahoma was my favorite swim school we have tried. The staff was kind, the dressing rooms were nice, there were showers before you swim and a lifeguard on duty. Parking was plentiful and there were balloons and coloring sheets for the children when they leave. Goldfish Swim School also offers fun events and open swim. If you have a baby or toddler; you also are in the water with them. My little one had so much fun!

The YMCA and Lifetime Fitness offers swimming lessons for children. I have not tried their lessons but they seem great and affordable. 

I hear a lot of great things about Oklahoma Swim Academy as well. A lot of swim schools or children's classes in general offer a free trial lesson so that may be something to ask.
