My favorite fitness centers in the OKC metro area that offer baby-sitting

Vasa fitness has a location in North Oklahoma City, South Oklahoma City, and Tulsa at the time. You may want to check them out as they offer a kid's club type of baby-sitting service. Learn more information HERE.

My top pick for fitness centers with childcare would be Lifetime Fitness. Their childcare area is top-notch by far compared to the other fitness centers in the area I have tried. They offer much more than just toys in a room and play time. I have seen children learning yoga, Spanish and more in their child care area.

This fitness center is pricier but totally worth it if you use the classes and can attend often monthly for the fee.  Lifetime Fitness also has a salon inside, café, swimming lessons for all ages and is literally in the parking lot of Quail Springs Mall. Lifetime Fitness also seems to offer more varieties of classes such as a dance class I loved and Pilates.  I cannot wait until they offer more locations.

*UPDATE* I heard Gold's Gym has closed their child care areas :( Many locations I used to frequent have gone out of business.

My second favorite fitness center in the Oklahoma City metro area that offers child care could be Gold's Gym. I think the staff seems kind and I thought the pricing was affordable as well. The great thing about Gold's Gym is they have quite a bit locations. If I got bored at one place; I would try a new location to switch up my workout routine. My favorite locations were in Norman, near Quail Springs mall and Moore. Your children may love going to different childcare centers within their network also.

Since I have heard of Gold's Gym not offering child care any longer; check out this spot in Moore that still offers child care. They call it Child Watch but I hear from other moms that it is great. We will try it this month and I will update you all.

The final suggestion for fitness centers with childcare would be the YMCA. It was about $40 USD for my child and I to attend. It is great they have so many locations; I loved the Downtown location the best. Sometimes their childcare is busy so it is best to make appointments if you plan on using childcare at some of the busier locations such as in Midwest City.

YMCA also offers childcare options such as Summer Camps and Spring Break programs if you work and need extra help with your children to keep them busy. I thought the YMCA probably offered the best pricing for what they include with classes and location accessibility.

I have totally tried other fitness centers with childcare options and worked at several. These are the ones I suggest due to their tidiness and overall customer service. I love the fitness centers that seem to really care about its customers and keeping their childcare areas safe. Another list of fitness centers you can try for FREE can be found HERE. Keep in mind some of this list do not offer childcare but do offer free trials to see if you like the facility before joining.
